Our school will have the greatest opportunity to have an Elder who survived the Residential schools as a speaker at our monthly assembly Monday.
Our apple picking adventure was so much fun! The children enjoyed learning about the life cycle of an apple tree. Our morning was divided in three parts: apple picking, education on the life cycle of an apple tree and a wagon ride around the orchard. Here are a few pictures from our morning:

We will continue our learning journey this coming week… Reading, writing, numeracy, organized talking (group work) and a few surprises are planned. Thank you so very much for making our children read at home every day. I am seeing some very positive results. Furthermore, you will find a duotang with words- this is only for the children to read. Please try to incorporate the reading of the words with the small book reading. You may help my by placing a small check mark next to the words our children are able to read automatically – these are high frequency words in French that we don’t decode. Don’t forget that homework is only 10 minutes.
Have a loving week and enjoy this great weather!
Talk soon 🙂
Monsieur Terry
